Three Gdansk universities will host Science Speed Dating FarU. This is the first such event organised by the academic community in Poland. The aim of the meetings is to intensify inter-university and interdisciplinary cooperation between the Medical University of Gdansk, Gdansk University of Technology and Gdansk University.
The event will take the form of short, thematic meetings during which participants will have the opportunity to network and exchange their experiences in applying for and implementing grant competitions.
The programme will include guest speakers and a Science Speed Dating session, during which participants will hold three-minute talks. The topics for the meetings on 17, 18 and 19 April are sustainability and the circular economy, IT technologies and materials engineering, and public health. The topics for the second session from 29 to 31 May are: new therapies, medicines, and medical technologies; environment and climate; and energy.
