As part of an agreement between the University of Szczecin and the Ministry of Education and Science, 25 Polish teachers from Argentina and Brazil will soon become students at the Szczecin university. 

The postgraduate course in teaching Polish as a foreign/second language/inherited language is a response to a significant increase in interest in learning Polish among South American Polonia. 

Commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science, the postgraduate programmes are an important and much-anticipated support for teachers, enabling them to improve their teaching skills, update their knowledge of contemporary Polish language, literature and culture. 

This will certainly contribute to a further increase of interest in learning the Polish language among South American Polonia, and thus contribute to the promotion of Polish culture in the world.
