The Polish Economic Society Branch in Łódź announces that the Competition Committee of the Competition for the best thesis in the field of social sciences in the disciplines of economics and finance and management and quality sciences defended in the year 2022 has awarded the 1st place in the category of master’s thesis to Ewelina Kuzma from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw for her thesis “Green banking and financial efficiency of banks”.

Second prize in this category was awarded to Agata Wojciechowska from the Technical University of Łódź for her thesis “The impact of crises characteristic of the Smart World on human resource management processes in contemporary organisations”, and third prize was taken by Rafał Pękalski from SGH for his thesis “The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the digitalisation of the banking sector in Poland”.

In the Bachelor’s thesis category, the winner was Natalia Przytuła from the University of Łódź for her thesis ‘Problems of rail transport hazards of dangerous goods in Poland’.
