FinTech postgraduate studies at the University of Lodz is a newly created, nationally unique course designed for those interested in gaining knowledge and skills in the field of financial technology. It is co-created by: University of Lodz (UŁ), the City of Lodz Office (UMŁ) and FinTech Central Poland – Lodz’s FinTech sector community.

The launch of the degree programme was announced to the media by representatives of the University of Łódź (UŁ), the City of Łódź (UMŁ) and project partners from Łódź-based FinTech companies. The press briefing took place on the terrace of the 19th floor of the HiPiotrkowska skyscraper – the tallest building in Łódź.

“The study is the result of a unique collaboration initiated by the City of Lodz Office and implemented by the University of Lodz together with the fintech community in Lodz. It is worth emphasising the great involvement of all partners at every stage of their creation. As a result, we offer studies combining sound scientific knowledge and a practical understanding of technological innovation in the finance sector. We add a component of entrepreneurship and leadership”, said Dr Agnieszka Kurczewska, Professor of the University of Łódź, Vice-Rector of the University of Łódź for cooperation with the environment.
