Big Data in social analytics – a new field of study at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University

Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (UKSW) in Warsaw is opening an interdisciplinary second degree course at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences in the academic year 2023/2024: Big Data in social analytics, which combines knowledge of sociological sciences with the latest information technologies. 

‘We will educate not only analysts, but also modern social researchers who, using new tools in the world of the digital revolution, as well as applying knowledge of sociology, economics, political science, cyber security or social psychology, will contribute to a better understanding of the social world’, informs Dr Mikołaj Szołtysek, professor at UKSW, head of the new major. 

The creators of the new course of study at UKSW envisage that its graduates, will find work as data analysts in banks, consulting and advisory firms, experts in business and public administration, as well as consultants in enterprises.
