The Foundation for Polish Science has announced the list of winners of the third competition in the programme FOR UKRAINE, addressed to representatives of social sciences and humanities. Three winning pairs of scientists from Ukraine and Poland will each receive support of PLN 268,800 for the implementation of their projects.
The winners of the competition include:
Prof. Monika Florczak-Wątor (Jagiellonian University in Krakow) and Dr Kristina Trykhlib (Yaroslav Mudryi National University of Law, Kharkiv), with project “Rule of law and independent judiciary: Major challenges for Ukraine and Poland in the context of European Union integration”.
Prof. Joanna Getka (University of Warsaw) and Prof. Halyna Naienko (Kiev Taras Shevchenko National University), project title: “”Welcome to Polszcza!” Analysis of the integration of young Poles and Ukrainians after 24/02/2022 for encouraging the adaptation of Ukrainian students in Poland”.
Dr Piotr Stanek, Professor (Krakow University of Economics) and Associate Professor Maksym Obrizan (Kiev School of Economics), with the project: “Determinants of labour-market performance and well-being of high-skilled Ukrainian refugees in Poland”.
