University of Wrocław researcher becomes winner of the Miniatura competition

The project by Dr Magdalena Ślawska, from the Institute of Slavonic Philology at the University of Wrocław, ‘Croatian and Serbian literature for children and young people in Poland in the years 1945-1989’ received funding as part of the Miniatura 7 competition organised by the National Centre for Science. 

The planned activities will be carried out in the form of queries at the National Library and Children’s Book Museum in Warsaw, the National and University Library in Zagreb and the National Library of Serbia in Belgrade. There will also be consultations with translators and researchers in Croatia and Serbia working on literature for children and young people.

Dr Magdalena Ślawska is a member of the Research Centre for Children’s and Young People’s Literature at the University of Wrocław. Her research interests focus on Croatian and Serbian children’s literature and the reception of Polish works for the youngest in Croatia and Serbia.
