At the end of September/beginning of October, the Medical University of Gdańsk will begin essential construction work on the new premises of the University Dental Centre. The cost of the investment is more than PLN 90 million.

The modern building will comprise a total of four storeys, offering almost 8,000 sq m of usable space. The underground part will contain technical rooms, social facilities, a garage hall and a central sterilisation room. The above-ground part will have scientific and research, teaching and clinical functions.

The construction of the University Dental Centre, together with landscaping and the necessary infrastructure, will be completed in 21 months. The value of the entire project is over PLN 90 million. More than PLN 47 million is state funding under an agreement concluded with the Ministry of Health, with the remainder coming from the University’s own resources.
