More than 80 tried-and-tested recipes, among them Grandma Leokadia’s Lemonade, Wild strawberry tincture, Pickles with peppers, Raspberry jam with ‘stone’, Pomegranate ambrosia, Rose cordial, Dry cherries in bouquets were shared by employees of the University of Bialystok (UwB) and this is how the book ‘University of Bialystok in a measuring cylinder’ was created.
The book ‘University of Bialystok from the kitchen’ was published a year ago. At that time, the culinary passions of the University’s staff were presented for the first time.
“These culinary passions are so unusual and inspiring that after the great success of the book “The University of Białystok from the kitchen”, we decided to continue the university-cooking series. This time, we focused on suggestions for the jar and bottle, i.e. preserves and health-promoting tinctures, hence the title measuring cylinder. There were plenty of people willing to put our idea into practice. We would like to thank the authors of the recipes for their great cooperation and wish them delicious”, said the Director of the Rector’s Office and originator of the publication, Agnieszka Bujakowska.
