The International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMol PAN) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Israeli Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS). The cooperation will concern, among other things, bilateral technology transfer and mutual sharing of specialised laboratories and research infrastructure, reports the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The agreement was signed by the director of IMol PAN, Prof. Agnieszka Chacińska, and the vice-rector of the Weizmann Institute of Science, Prof. Irit Sagi.
The institutes, based on mutual benefits, will jointly conduct research of significant importance to the economy, cooperate in technology transfer, co-organise conferences and use each other’s laboratories and research infrastructure.
WIS is one of the world’s leading universities in the sciences, not only in terms of scientific discoveries, but also in terms of translating their findings into economic activities and outcomes.
