On the occasion of Polish Science Day, the University of Łódź together with the Medical University of Łódź are inviting the Łódź academic community to the conference “Science joins forces: networking for social impact”, which will be held on 21 February 2024 at the EC1 Science and Technology Centre in Łódź.

The event aims to showcase the advantages and concrete examples of cooperation between scientific centres and institutions from the scientific community, which benefit symbiotically from such cooperation. 

The speakers and invited guests will include scientists representing universities in Łódź, representatives of cultural institutions whose task is to popularise science, companies cooperating with universities, as well as funders. 

The event will be held under the patronage and with the participation of Professor Agnieszka Kurczewska, Vice-Chancellor for Cooperation with the Environment at the University of Łódź, and Professor Lucyna Woźniak, Vice-Chancellor for Science Development and International Cooperation at the Medical University of Łódź.
