Recruitment is underway for ‘Hemp Business’ – a new postgraduate course at Wrocław University of Economics (UEW). The programme includes classes on cannabis in psychology and psychiatry, as well as laboratory practice. This is the first course of this kind in Poland. 

The aim is to educate staff prepared to enter the market related to the sale of goods and services based on cannabis products, while maintaining the highest therapeutic and ethical standards. Studies enable the acquisition of specialist knowledge concerning hemp, its cultivation, properties and potential applications.  

“Classes will be conducted in the form of lectures and workshops, with emphasis on practical aspects. Students will be given the opportunity to take classes in a professional extraction laboratory, where there will be an opportunity to learn about the key processes of hemp processing. Eager graduates of the course will also have the opportunity to complete internships under the supervision of experienced therapists”, says Jolanta Nowacka of UEW.
