The Silesian University of Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with the Surveyor General of Poland. The agreement is expected to result in cooperation in the scientific field, joint participation in research and development projects, and support from the Surveyor General for the teaching process of Geodesy and Cartography.
The attractiveness of education at the Silesian University of Technology will also be increased, especially at the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation, through the introduction of the educational model “Integrated Professional Competence, Ethics and Scientific Development”, taking into account the participation of the Chief Land Surveyor. For students of Geodesy and Cartography, this agreement provides the opportunity to carry out thesis topics combined with an internship at the General Office of Geodesy and Cartography.
