The Rector of the Technical University of Łódź, Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, met with the Minister of Infrastructure, Dariusz Klimczak, in Warsaw.

The visit to the Ministry served to discuss tasks important for the development of infrastructure in Poland, in which the PŁ could cooperate with the Ministry using its know-how, knowledge and experience.

The discussed projects included the three most important activities: the participation of the Technical University of Łódź in the training of personnel for aviation and air traffic control in the broad sense of the term, cooperation in tasks related to construction and design work for road and railway infrastructure, and support from the Technical University of Łódź for tasks related to the management and welfare of Polish waters.

The Ministry of Infrastructure emphasised that the Technical University of Łódź, using the skills and experience of its research and teaching staff, contributes to building a modern knowledge-based economy.
