Gdansk University of Technology becomes a partner of the European DigiWind project

Gdansk University of Technology (PG) has become a partner of the international project DigiWind – Digital Masters of Wind and Energy Systems. DigiWind is a pioneering endeavour to redefine the landscape of renewable energy education, reports the university.

The project is led by the Technical University of Denmark Wind and Energy Systems and partners, in addition to PG, include the Dutch Delft University of Technology, the Danish University of Oslo, the Technological University of the Shannon from Ireland and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. In addition to the universities, the consortium includes wind energy companies from the UK, the Netherlands and Ireland.

DigiWind will deliver interdisciplinary specialised education programmes in science, technology, engineering and mathematics in wind and energy systems. DigiWind’s ambition is to educate and certify more than 900 students and 10,000 industry professionals.
