The call for applications for the 7th “Academic Legion” project is open until 15 March 2024. This is the seventh year of a joint venture between the Minister of National Defence and the Minister of Science. It allows university students and graduates to undergo voluntary military training.
“Academic Legion” is a programme of voluntary military training for students of uniformed master’s studies, BA and MA studies and university graduates. It comprises two parts of training. The theoretical part implemented by universities in accordance with the training programme developed by the Minister of National Defence, and the practical part (military exercises) organised by the Minister of National Defence.
The theoretical part will be implemented as part of the NCO module and will include 13 hours of curriculum training and a two-hour exam. The programme will include subjects in defence and military knowledge.
The Minister of Science is planning to allocate PLN 1 million for the implementation of the seventh project in 2024.
