Success of the “Polish come back” program

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education wants scientists who have left the country to return to Poland. – The “Polish Come back” program implemented by the Foundation for Polish Science is very successful. Ten scholars applied for one scholarship – said Piotr Dardziński, the deputy head of the Ministry of Science in an interview with the portal Interia.

“Polish Come back” is a program that is to help bring the best Polish researchers from abroad. According to estimates, 10,000 Polish scientists work only in Europe. Those who decide to return to the country can count on a salary of up to 350,000. PLN gross annually.

As Dr Zofia Sawicka deputy director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange said in an interview with the agency Newseria Biznes “annually we will be able to accommodate about 25 scholars meeting the high science requirements, so that the public funds of this program will be repaid in the form of significant contribution to Polish science”.

Polish companies and the innovativeness of the Polish economy will also benefit from the return of scientists.
