The Senate of the University of Corvinus in Budapest awarded Prof. Grzegorz Kołodko the title of Honorary Professor for outstanding achievements and scientific works in the field of economics and economic policy.

Grzegorz Kołodko is a professor of economics and a lecturer at Kozminski University in Warsaw. In the years 1994-1997 and 2002-2003 he was the Minister of Finance and the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers. He has published many books and publications on economics and politics.

He is considered to be the author of the theoretical trend of economics called New Pragmatism. He is a member of the European Academy of Science, Arts and Letters and the Scientific Council of the Foundation for European Progressive Studies.
