On December 14, 2018, the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of Political Science at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin will be held. During the event, the medals of the 25th anniversary will be awarded for long-term cooperation with the Faculty.

Individual medals will be received by Krzysztof Żuk – Mayor of Lublin, Piotr Franaszek – director of the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin, Małgorzata Piasecka – Editor-in-Chief of the Polish Radio Lublin, Zbigniew Sobczuk – Art curator and President of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Lublin and Katarzyna Kępa – director of the Municipal Labor Office in Lublin.

Awards will also be given to the following institutions: NN Theater, Cultural Center, Homo Faber, Misericordia, Center for Eastern Europe and editorial offices of the Gazeta Wyborcza, the Kurier Lubelski, Radio Centrum, the Dziennik Wschodni and TVP Lublin.
