Two projects of the Wrocław Academy of Physical Education received funding under the call of the National Center for Research and Development ‘Third University Mission’. The total amount of funding is over one million PLN.

Teachers of the Department of Human Biology and the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Physiotherapy, under the supervision of Prof. Krzysztof A. Sobiech will carry out the project “Children’s competences in the field of lifestyle for 5”. The project will be implemented in selected primary schools of Wroclaw in the years 2019-2021.

Dr Jarosław Fugiel and Dr Krystyna Chromik from the Department of Physical Anthropology will carry out the project “Senior activity is their efficiency and health”, which assumes the preparation and implementation of an exercise program for the elderly people. Classes will be conducted in the form of lectures and exercises to increase the level of physical activity. The project will be attended by 240 people aged 60+ and will be implemented in 2019-2021.
