The Academy’s activities for Safe Senior are organized for the students of the University of the Third Age of the University of Physical Education in Wrocław by the Municipal Police Headquarters.

During the Academy, its participants learn about the types of crimes committed to older people and how to avoid them and how to defend against them. The participants will discuss behavior in emergency situations – how to defend against violence against the elderly people, how to give first aid, and how to inform the emergency services in order to have a short and informative message.

The inaugural lecture “History and Tradition of the Police” was delivered by police officer Michał Kawalec. An additional artistic setting was provided by the police orchestra of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
