On 9-10 March 2018, the Talk & Tech 2018 Conference will be held at the Center of Audiovisual Technologies in Wrocław. This is the first meeting of women from the IT and new technologies industries under the patronage of the Association for Computing Machinery. The aim is to promote the involvement of women in all aspects of the IT industry.

The first day of the conference will be filled with lectures of the women working in the new technologies industry. The second day is to be devoted to workshops that will bring closer career opportunities in the IT industry. The special guest of the event will be Dr. Aleksandra Przegalińska, assistant professor at the Center for Research on Organizations and Workplaces at the University of Warsaw, currently working and conducting research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.
