During the visit to Reno, Nevada, Polish President Andrzej Duda watched drones flying in urban areas. He also participated in the show of the Polish drone MOSUPS, created by a consortium whose leader is the Warsaw Institute of Aviation.

These tests are part of the NIAS-NASA-ILOT project – the largest American-Polish project for testing unmanned aerial vehicles. Łukasiewicz Research Network – Aviation institute (ILOT) is the only foreign institution invited to participate in American shows.

The purpose of the tests is the implementation of new technologies enabling simultaneous moving of a larger number of such devices in a urbanized area in a way that does not pose a threat to city dwellers or air traffic.
