Students of the State Higher Vocational School in Krosno win the competitions in the Netherlands

Students of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Krosno from the Rotor Scientific Club beat their own record of the length of the route by the car on 1 liter of ethanol. At Shell Eco Marathon in the Netherlands they traveled 749 km and won the first place in Europe.

The students of Krosno School in 2016 developed a car, which is designed to take the longest drive on 1 liter of ethanol. Every year, students, in cooperation with lecturers and local companies, try to modernize the vehicle and compete in international competitions for students organized by the Shell oil concern.

In 2016, the car passed 133 km, a year later 306 km, in 2018 it was already 498 km. This year, the vehicle traveled 749 km on 1 liter of ethanol.
