The University of Life Sciences in Wrocław has won over PLN 1 million for the international exchange of PhD students and young academic staff. Thanks to the funding from the PROM program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, 70 people will be able to receive scholarships to foreign scientific centers or to Wrocław.
The project assumes, that at least 80 percent project participants are PhD students, with the researchers making 20 percent The application commission will take into account the competence of foreign languages, ambitions and plans for future careers, willingness to self-development and raising competences, ability to work in a group and future effects of the participation in the program.
The university assumes that the experience will translate into the preparation of articles for renowned scientific journals and international publications as well as the development of international cooperation networks, strengthening the research and organizational potential of the university and strengthening its position in the international arena.
