Dr Piotr Manikowski, Prof. Associate of the Poznań University of Economics, was elected Vice President of the Program at the Asia Pacific Risk and Insurance Association (APRIA) for the 2019-2020 term.

The main task of the scientist from the Insurance Department of the Poznań university will be dealing with the program of the New York conference WRIEC 2020 – the most important scientific event in the field of insurance. This is another year of work of Prof. Manikowski in the authorities of APRIA. In the 2018-2019 term, he was the Secretary in the Executive Committee, and in the years 2014-2017 he was a member of the Scientific Council of this organization.

APRIA was founded in 1997. IT Is one of the three most important international insurance associations, which brings together scientists from almost all continents. They meet at annual conferences to present the results of the latest research and discuss current events in the field of insurance and risk management.
