Wrocław University of Science and Technology graduates reach the final of the international competition for the factory of the future

“ReFactory”, a student project of a factory that converts electronic waste into raw material for 3D printers by Patrycja Czechowska and Katarzyna Winkler from the architecture department of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology reached the final of The 4. Annual Inspireli Awards.

The project was created as part of the “Architectural Design” classes. The students were to create the concept of a factory of the future that could function in about ten years. They decided to place their plant in the Wrocław city port of Kleczków.

Inspireli Awards is an international competition for students of architecture held under the auspices of the well-known and prestigious ArchDaily website. 887 projects from 86 countries were submitted for competition. The jury selected 30 finalists in the following categories: architecture, urban planning and interior design. The winners will be announced on October 10 at a gala at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
