A graduate of architecture at the Gdańsk University of Technology wins an architectural competition

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Gdańsk University of Technology was awarded in the national design competition “Play in green – invite greenery inside” under the honorary patronage of the State Higher School of Arts in Racibórz and the Faculty of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Paweł Kańgowski won the first prize for his work “Designer’s Hub – a green alternative to office building”. 

The jury composed of well-known and respected architects appreciated the creation of a successful symbiosis of greenery with a large cubature of an office building situated in the urban fabric of Milan.

In large cities, the creation of such urban gardens, green facades of large office buildings is a very important element that purifies the air in urban structures and brings tangible benefits to the employees of these offices. The award was granted for the elegance of the architectural and material solutions themselves, as well as the creative use of greenery in the composition of the entire body of the facility.
