Bachelor’s thesis written and defended at the University of Economics in Poznań by Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi “The Impact of Corporate Governance on Firm Performance: Evidence from Polish Non-Financial Listed Firms” won the third prize in the competition for the best bachelor’s and master’s thesis in the field of international economic relations. The competition was held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology. 

In her work, the laureate presented the results of research on the impact of corporate governance on the financial results of public companies. The author analyzed this correlation for non-financial sector companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, using quantitative methods, including regression analysis.

The results of her research can be used by managers in the process of shaping the principles of corporate governance in their enterprises, as well as by entities selecting companies for the investment portfolio.
