Bartosz Duraj, PhD student at the University of Gdańsk, will implement the project “Political conditions of the energy transformation in Poland in 2004-2020”. The scientist received funding for the project from the National Science Center and a scholarship for education from the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The project takes into account the transnational nature of the energy transformation of a European Union Member State and analyzes it from a political, economic, legal and social perspective. The conducted research will allow for an in-depth and reliable description of the course of Poland’s energy transformation and its conditions.
The assumptions of the project include: identification of factors influencing the initiation and course of the energy transformation process, examining the role of institutions that structure legislative processes, regulations, political instruments, patterns of interaction between the government and stakeholders, political concepts, programs and sectoral strategies.
