Prof. Dean J. Krusienski, an authority in the field of biomedical engineering, is planning an internship at the Opole University of Technology. This is not the only form of cooperation between universities and an American scientist. Joint scientific research is also planned.

Prof. Krusienski focuses on the use of advanced signal processing and pattern recognition techniques in brain-computer interfaces, as well as neural signal decoding and translation, digital signal and image processing, machine learning, evolutionary algorithms, artificial neural networks, and biomedical and musical applications.

“Prof. Dean J. Krusienski showed interest in establishing closer cooperation. He is plannng to do an internship at our university. We will also conduct joint research and apply for grants – says Prof. Aleksandra Kawala-Sterniuk from the Department of Power Engineering and Renewable Energy of the Opole University of Technology.
