On June 17, 2021, the Academic Center for Culture and Media of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University (UMCS) “Chatka Żaka” has signed the Act of Cooperation of Lublin Universities and the City of Lublin. The document concerns the establishment of Lublin Student Culture Space, (Lublin PKS). 

The organizers are inviting all students from Lublin to participate in the project and give them space for joint actions, in all possible forms of cultural activities.

The new Center will develop integration, exchange of experiences, development of social competencies, non-formal education, animation, presence in student culture, talent development, networking, personal development among students of Lublin universities as part of the Lublin PKS project.

The assumptions of the project include the creation of a space for all students of Lublin universities, for productive spending of free time with the support of the staff, educators and culture managers and the media of the UMCS Academic Center for Culture and Media.
