The Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław has completed the implementation of the “University of Young Explorer” project. 126 people aged 6-16 took part in the classes at the three faculties of the university. The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund.
As part of the project, programs for children and youth were developed and implemented in the form of workshops and theoretical / demonstration classes at the painting and sculpture, the ceramics and glass, and the graphics and media arts departments.
Participants had the opportunity to cooperate with artists and learn the secrets of work in the scientific and artistic environment. The kids created the amazing works including from stained glass and installations in public space to art books and audiobooks.
Teachers and school staff from Wrocław, Wołów, Sobótka and Żarów and the “Made in Brochów” foundation cooperated with the artists from the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts.
