Academy of Jakub from Paradyż in Gorzów Wielkopolski will receive PLN 1 million in subsidies for launching the nursing course. The financing agreement was signed by the rector of the university, Prof. Elżbieta Skorupska-Raczyńska and marshal of the Lubuskie voivodeship Elżbieta Polak.

The transferred funds will be allocated to the development of the scientific and research staff, scientific research, research works (PLN 350 thousand) as well as to retrofitting the course and current expenses (PLN 650 thousand). The university has been accredited for education in the field of BA nursing for a period of 3 years.

The Gorzów Academy is planning to launch further medical faculties including Medical Emergency and the interdisciplinary direction called Medical Engineering. – This is a course which will prepare the graduates to operate modern medical and electronic devices. He will also have medical knowledge that will allow him to describe the medical photo – says the rector of the Academy.
