The Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk (AWFiS) will cooperate with the Lechia Gdańsk sports club. The cooperation will concern the Lechia Gdańsk Football Academy and diagnostics of the players of the league team.  

– We will be a good partner for Lechia, because we have experts practicing in their competence areas. Also we will benefit from the contract ourselves because we will receive extensive research material from high-performance research of athletes and young Lechia players who aspire to play at a high sports level, – says the Rector of AWFiS.

Students will be able to undergo internships and apprenticeships at the club, and the youngest footballers will be able to undergo tests including anthropometric measurements, indirect biological age assessment, speed ability tests, agility tests, assessment of the power of lower and upper limbs and proportions in the strength of antagonistic muscles or FMS tests assessing traffic quality.
