The Western and Northern Territories Network has planned application process for the first Academy of Western and Northern Territories, which will be held under the slogan: “Western and Northern Lands – region or regions?” Applications can be sent until February 28.

The goal of the Academy is cognitive development in an interdisciplinary spirit and deepening the knowledge of researchers from Polish research centers, preparing master’s theses, doctoral dissertations or other studies on Western and Northern Lands through providing seminar discussions on their research, enabling them to compare the results and developing workshop skills related to methodological and source issues.

Researchers from Poland, who are currently conducting research in the field of humanities on the past and present of the territories that were incorporated into the Polish state as a result of World War II, are currently invited to participate in the Academy.
