27.06.2019

The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (AMU) took the third place of Polish universities in the Perspektywy ranking. In the general classification of high schools, the Poznan University is the fifth university.

– I am also glad that 6 studies at UAM have been recognized as the best-taught courses in Poland and this also confirms the high level of education at UAM. The best courses are: foreign philology and linguistics, biology, Polish philology, pedagogy, special pedagogy and tourism and recreation – says the rector of UAM, Prof. Andrzej Lesicki.

The Rector adds that the system of financing science does not prefer the humanities and social sciences today, and the ranking criteria favors technical universities – Of course, we follow the results of rankings, we also know our strengths and prepare a strategy for strengthening the position of UAM in Poland and of course in international rankings – summarizes Prof. Lesicki.
