University Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań for the second time was recognised as the best Polish university in the international ranking of World University Ranking “Green Metric”. The Poznań University took 160th place for 719 higher schools in the world.

The list takes into account the educational programs and infrastructure investments, the issue of waste management, including toxic ones, water and energy saving solutions, space management – including green innovations and development of paths for pedestrians and cyclists on campuses.

Poznan University also took a high – 70th place in the category of city campuses. The world leaders are the Dutch University of Wageningen, University of California Davis, and English universities: Oxford University, Nottingham Trent University and University of Nottingham.
