The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań was one of the universities selected in the STER competition organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Thanks to this competition, it will organize international doctoral studies, summer schools and research trips.
The aim of the competition is to systematically support Polish institutions that run doctoral schools. The project is to influence the quality of education in doctoral schools and the quality of research conducted by doctoral students. The provided funds will increase the international mobility of doctoral students. The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange allocated nearly PLN 20 million for the program.
The detailed objectives of the program, include: supporting long-term international cooperation of doctoral schools, acquiring foreign doctoral students and promoters from abroad and scholarship support for doctoral students pursuing doctoral projects in international cooperation, as well as aiming at obtaining a joint degree or double degree.
