The construction of the Central Integrated Clinical Hospital – the flagship investment of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences – has received an additional PLN 210 million from the state budget. The additional funds will make it possible to complete the construction of the 5 hospital modules as originally planned, despite the increase in costs resulting, among other things, from the geopolitical situation.

In the first stage, the construction of the Hospital Emergency Ward and a module with treatment wards will be completed. These will begin operation in the new location in the second quarter of 2024. The remaining three facilities are scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.

The Central Integrated Clinical Hospital is the most important investment in the history of the UMP with a value of over PLN 850 million. It will ensure excellent treatment conditions for patients. The investment will also enhance the scientific development of the university and create excellent teaching conditions for students.
