Advanced simulator for law students of the University of Wroclaw

29.05.2018

In the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wroclaw, the “Virtual Crime Room” was opened. It is an advanced simulator for didactic classes using virtual reality equipment that will help future lawyers to learn their professional activities during the inspecting or securing traces.

– Our students can “participate” in the investigation of the crime scene and make a detailed analysis of it. All they need are special goggles. Thanks to two hand controllers they can gather evidence and secure traces in the virtual reality – says Damian Mroczyński from the law, administration and economics department.

The Crime Room is not the end of “virtual” projects of the University. It plans to create soon the Center for Virtual Reality Technology. The development of virtual techniques is a possibility of cooperation in the field of technology transfer as well as the implementation of research projects and the commercialization of research results.
