On 4-6 October 2021, a delegation from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków with Prof. Jerzy Lis, rector of AGH, visited Toulouse, where it participated in the conference “Space and Universities of the Future in Europe”, as well as in the sessions of the project groups of the UNIVERSEH consortium, which AGH creates together with universities from France, Germany, Luxembourg and Sweden.
One of the main topics of the conference was to present the possibilities of European universities to improve the quality of education, in particular in the space research sector. The participants of the debates answered the question of how UNIVERSEH can bring benefits to all parties to the project, and how to guarantee students from all partner countries equal access to a high level of education.
During the conference, the partners officially inaugurated the research cornerstone of the consortium project – “Beyond UNIVERSEH”. Its financing was announced in spring 2021. The aim of the initiative is to expand the know-how of the project in the field of research and education in the field of science and engineering, economy, business, as well as finance, medicine, social sciences, art, culture and entrepreneurship.
