Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science has a new chairman

Director of the Chancellery of the Rector of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw, Dr Igor Kilanowski was appointed chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science. He received the nomination from the Minister of Education and Science, Dr Przemysław Czarnek.

The Council of Young Scientists is an advisory body to the minister responsible for science. It consists of representatives of all fields and the most important research centers in Poland.

The tasks of the body include preparing recommendations on instruments for supporting the career of young scientists and introducing them to the mechanisms of financing science. The Council also supports scientists in identifying existing and future barriers to career development and in establishing contacts with representatives of economic circles and institutions implementing innovative solutions in science.
