Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Prof.  Eng. Jerzy Lis received symbolic checks with a total value exceeding PLN 14.5 million from Przemysław Czarnek, the minister of education and science.

The projects co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Science include: construction of the Student Construction Center, intelligent autonomous vehicle management systems, research on innovative fuels for hybrid drives and participation in international solar boat competitions.

Within the allocated funds, AGH University of Science and Technology will receive nearly PLN 13.5 million as part of investments for research and education at public universities. The funds will be allocated to the following investments: construction of the AGH University of Science and Technology Student Design Center, Exploris 240 mass spectrometer with Ultimate 3000 chromatograph, laser spectrometer for precise measurements of atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases, expansion of High Power Computers and resources of data storage for the needs of the scientific community, expansion of the MAN network for the needs of the scholars in Krakow.
