AGH University of Science and Technology wins the “Young Innovative for PGNiG” competition

Students of the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow, Mikołaj Krupa and Maciej Kalka, and a PhD student, Paweł Jagoda from the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science AGH won this year’s “Young Innovative for PGNiG” competition.

The competition organized by Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG) is addressed to students and PhD students working on innovative research and development projects that correspond to the areas of the PGNiG Group’s operations.

The winning team of AGH has developed a solution ensuring safe, cheap and effective storage of hydrogen and the possibility of its purification, which is very important in the further use of hydrogen, e.g. in fuel cells.

They achieved 30 thousand PLN prize and got a chance to receive 400 thousand PLN for its implementation.
