The Faculty of Mining and Geoengineering of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków together with Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) SA and JSW Szkolenia i Górnictwo Sp. z o.o. are organizing a scientific conference “Mining – let’s start our tomorrow today.”

The event takes place remotely on January 28-29, 2021.

The aim of the conference is to show the current and future directions of scientific activity in cooperation with partners from the mining industry, especially in cooperation with Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa SA. The topics of the event were divided into sessions covering the following issues: geomechanical hazards in underground mining, energy efficiency, circular economy, qualifications in the mining industry.

The conference is addressed mainly at employees of mines and mining companies, as well as scientists, experts and representatives of Mining Offices.
