On 1 March at Ignatianum University in Krakow, the Father Stanislaw Musial Award will be presented to persons of merit in the Christian and Polish-Jewish dialogue. Robert Szuchta was awarded for his work and Agnieszka Cahn for her social activities.
Robert Szuchta is a historian, teacher at a secondary school in Warsaw, co-author of history textbooks. He is the author of the work “1000 years of the history of the Polish Jews. A Journey through the Centuries”.
Agnieszka Cahn is a social activist, animator, teacher, researcher of the history of Myślenice Jews and theologian. She has worked for years to restore the memory of the Jewish inhabitants of Myślenice.
The prize was established by the “Przymierze” Club of Christians and Jews. Its founders are the Rector of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, the Mayor of the City of Krakow and the Jewish Community in Krakow.
