The Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin will cooperate with Bank Zachodni WBK – Santander Universidades. The bank will support academic, technological and scientific initiatives, programs, projects or services.

The framework agreement was signed by the Vice-Rector for Science of the University – Prof. Jerzy Samochowiec and manager of Santander Universidades in Poland – Wojciech Leśniewski. Its scope includes projects improving the quality of education, supporting research activities, improving institutional management of academic centers, increasing the availability of training programs, promoting international exchange and popularizing cooperation programs.

Polish universities are to be modern, innovative and to cooperate with the economy and business – says Prof. Samochowiec. The Vice-Rector adds that the possibility of using Santander’s contacts around the world is also an opportunity for scientists.
