Polish business supports the development of science

The Cedrob Group from Ciechanów presented the results of the grant competition “We support development”. Out of over one thousand projects submitted in various categories, 72 were selected. 1 million PLN was allocated for their implementation.

In the Science and Development category the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw for the project “Ways of managing the bird poultry” and the Institute of Public Initiatives Foundation for the project to create the Polish Leaders’ Academy were awarded PLN 30,000 each.

The other awarded winners include: University of Life Sciences in Poznan for the project “Wheat and corn straw as a potential material for the production of bioethanol and biomethane”, Student Scientific Circle at the Medical University of Gdańsk for the project “The impact of silver nanoparticles’ functionalization on their antimicrobial properties” and the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw for the project “Summer School of Young Scientists”.
