University of Technology will cooperate with Universidad Católica de Santa Maria in Arequipa, Peru. The agreement on the exchange and academic cooperation was signed during the stay of Peruvian guests in Poznan.
The document opens up the possibility of implementing partial studies by students and PhD students of both universities. It was signed by the Dr. Cesar Cáceres, Vice-Rector, Prof. José A. Villanueva Salas, dean of the University of Arequipa and Rector of the University of Technology, Prof. Tomasz Łodygowski.
During the visit, the guests from Peru discussed the vision and strategy for further activities in the field of common research interests in chemical technology and related fields. The visitors also visited laboratories from many areas – including biotechnology, manufacturing and characterization of functional materials and biomaterials, polymer processing, chromatography, energy storage and new electrode materials.
